Dark Side of Iron Lady Indira Gandhi

Indira Gandhi was the first ever women Prime Minister of India. Still no women president was elected in india. She worked as a prime minister for 15 years. Though she did a good administration, she is well known for some critics. Four important critics of Indira Gandhi[IG] is as follows:

1. corruption charges[1971]:

Many people are unaware of a corruption charge against Indira Gandhi in Allahabad High Court on ground of electorial malpractis. Allahabad High Court suspended her to be a member of parliment. But later the verdict of Allahabad court was suspended by Supreme Court.

2. Emergency[1975]:

The most siginificant reason behind the emergency announced by Indira Gandhi was JP movement. It was called so because it was conducted by Jayaprakash Narayan against IG. Jayaprakash Narayan never contested election in his life term before the verdict of Allahabad High cour 1971. In fact on june 25 1975 [the day in which emergency was issued] JP had announced a daily demonstration not only in Delhi but also in every state untill Indira Gandhi would resign. He also appealed Army to refuse IG[indira gandhi] and abide constitution. Moraji Desai an associate of JP in an interview to itallian newspaper said, "we intend to overthrow her". Morajii desai was the deputy prime minister of our country during IG period. Officials emergency was issued as a result of overall systematic failure. As a result of emergency press and fundamental rights were suspended. The emergency lasted for 19month. It was ended on january 23 1977. Soon after the withdrawal of the emergency, general elections were declared in the country. The Congress was reduced to just 153 seats in the Lok Sabha and the Janata Party led by Morarji Desai came to power. It was the first time a non-Congress government that assumed leadership of the country.

3. Currency Crisis:

During 1980s, Indira's administration failed to arrest the 40 percent fall in the value of the Indian Rupee from 7 to 12 to the US Dollar.

4. Operation Blue Star:

Indira Gandhi has faced a serious problem at the end of her life term in punjab. In June 1984, Jamail Singh separatist group were camping and amassing weapons within the walls of the Golden temple, Sikhism's holiest shrine. Despite the presence of thousands of civilians in the Golden Temple complex at the time the army opened fire resulting in large casualties.Indira Gandhi's order to approve Operation Blue Star was highly condemned by international media

Corruption at every corner of our Life

Corruption !!! Corruption is the most prominent word which exist at every stage of our life. Corruption prevents the growth of individual thereby preventing the entire nation. It disturbs the development of country , it disturbs good government. If we say the Act of corruption is dishonest, then we must say that every Indian is dishonest in someway.

Corruption begins at our birth and continue till our death. Yes, We pay bribe to get birth certificate and bribe to get a death certificate of a person. In between this two stages we face lot of corruptions. We pay bribe to get a job.

There exists One of the best example of corruption which everyone of us do in our life. I can say 100% that all indian would have come accros it. I hope no can say no this.

We wont pay full tax to get a land or house at revenue office/taluk office. Its the biggest corruption in our country. Hardly one or two pay full tax amount. Say if the tax is Rs30000 for a land worth of Rs300000 we would be paying only Rs10000. Can you say a single department which is free of corruption??? But you can easily say a department which is corrupted from its base to top. Its police department. Best example is here. Traffic police- They are ready to get fine even if we have license and other documents in complete. Their fine range between Rs10 to Rs1000.[Its for traffic police alone]

Instead of blaming others we should turn our own pages and count the number of corruption we made. Its impossibe to change whole world or whole country. But the only possible thing is, we can change ourself. A country can be made corruption free only if each of its citizen change his mind. Unemployment increases if population increases. Corruption increases if Unemployment increases.

A Building cannot be constructed without its base. A country cannot be developed without eradicating corruption at its base level

Please share your idea to terminate corruption. Its possible to terminate it.. Join hand to develope a corruption free country. Corruption exists among poor and rich. It exists among educated and uneducated

End of the world

There is lot of hype and controversy over the End of World on December-21-2012..I have three questions related to this topic

Que No 1 : Why do the world end in that particular date December 21?

Que No 2 : If its going to happen really what would be the cause of end of world?

Que No 3 : What is the profit for those who spread this news at first.. Is it really service oriented or profit oriented?

Several scientist predict that world will get destroyed by 2012. There are several reason for it. First reason is Mayan calendar.. Hope many of would have expected this point. Mayans are well known for their astronomical strength. They even calculated the length of lunar moon. Solar experts are expecting for a sun storm by 2012. Europe is going to test similar to large hardon collidor to test the origin of world. Scientist all over the world says atom smasher will result to huge destruction if its went wrong and it can even create a black hole. Biggest volcano is going to erupt by 2012 at United states. Earth's magnetic field is changing day by day. It seems one fine day the pole of earth will inverse as south pole will shift as north pole. I hope everyone can imagine the effect of shift in pole.

Moreover being a hot topic, the source of this rumor is gonna gain huge profit.. One of the biggest achievement for them can be seen here itself. Yes, we all are very keen to know about it. Naturally we search about it in internet. And each click of the page is gonna earn some profit for them. Finally in someway even i contribute for their profit by this blog

Nobel Peace Prize 2009-Obama

Obama: US president: Nobel Peace Prize 2009

Obama was sworn in as president on Janurary 20 2009. The deadline for Nobel Peace Price is February 1 2009 which means he would have been nominated for Peace award within 10 days of his office based on his speech. As we all know, obama became famous all over the world because of his famous speech 'Yes We Can Change'. Did anything changed till now??

Yes it changed in Iraq and Afghanistan. But of no use. He is planning to pull out the military troops from Iraq by August 2010. And He deployed more troops at afghanistan in the name of war against terrorism as his predecessor Mr.George Bush did. What else changed??

Even the famous Times newspaper in USA was not supporting for its president. Some people even say that nobel peace prize was given just for anti-bush moto not really for pro-obama. Talk show host rush limbaugh's website featured the headline "Our president is a laughingstock" and portrayed Obama as the darling of "European leftist elites." It was just to please Mr.Obama and USA thus failling to servie its basic function. The 1983 Laureate, Poland's Lech Walesa, was more blunt."Who, Obama? So fast? Too fast -- he hasn't had the time to do anything yet," Walesa told reporters in Warsaw.

According to rules of nobel committee the secret person who nominated obama for peace prize can be revealed only after 50 years. So lets wait till 2059 !!Cool

One important point, we indians should know that Mahatma gandhi was nominated for NOBEL PEACE PRIZE thrice. But still so called nobel committee is thinking about it...** Was the horizon of the Norwegian Nobel Committee too narrow? Were the committee members unable to appreciate the struggle for freedom among non-European peoples?" Or were the Norwegian committee members perhaps afraid to make a prize award which might be detrimental to the relationship between their own country and Great Britain?

Think !!!

Professor's Turning Point

Indian origin Edisson did his Ph.d in Economics from University of Maryland USA. He worked at a private company for 20 years in USA. He decided to return india Since he earned hand full of money. Edisson planned to spend his remaining days in any college as a professor teaching his famous Subject economics.

He got a job in a university which is located at remote place in north-east India. He had a deep knowledge in economics so all the students were eagerly attending his class. He enjoy his class and his students too.

One fine day he went to a hotel which is 1 km from his college. It made a big turning point for Mr.Edisson. He came through lots of people who were so poor and are in the stage to die. The land is very dry and its people were skinny due to less food. They hardly had money to purchase food items.

He was very much vexed on seeing this poor people. He thought doing a ph.d in economics is mere waste if he cannot help poor people. The scene was running in his mind for several days. One day he decided to see the poor woman in personal to enquire them. The main job of those poor women were making bamboo chairs and tables. The chairs and tables were fantastic and they had a very good skill in making it. But they can only earn a few rupees. On speaking with them he came to know the tragetic story behind those skiny people.

People used to buy money from fincance companies Since they dont have money to invest. The cost of 1kg bamboo stick is just Rs25. And they can sell it for Rs40. so the profit is RS15. But they hardely earned Rs2 for each chair Because of their deal with finance compaines. Once the poor women made the chairs they have to sell it to finance company owners only. In return they will give them just Rs.2 for their hard work.

[cost and quantity are just for assumption]

Professor was helpless on seeing those scene. After a week Mr. Edisson called his student to assemble below a banyan tree near his college. He ordered his students to collect the name of poor women in that village within one day. Next day he went there with his student and gave Rs50 to each poor men and women to invest for their buisness. He reminded the skiny people that its just a loan and must return once they begin to earn profit. On hearing this all the people were happy. Edisson's student were shocked at professors kind heart.

On next day he wrote a quote in his class board which never erased in the heart of students; it was

"Education is useless if u cant help the needy people at time"

Applicant tracking software

Applicant tracking software is used to track or monitor the applicant(user). Applicant tracking software usually runs in background without the knowledge of user. It can trace IP Address, MAC Address, location and keystrokes of user. [Applicant tracking system is also used in handling of recruitment needs]

History: Applicant tracking software was at first used by organization to monitor its employee behavior since use of internet for personal use was increasing. But later it got into the illegal hands.

Benefits:

-An organization can track its employees behavior for the growth of company.

-Parents can track the internet usage of their children. [Not really needed Cool]

Demerits:

- Track the applicant location, address and send it to remote server or saving in local system itself.

- Key strokes are monitored. It is really illegal to monitor a key stroke if the user utilize the system for net banking,. It can even monitor the password. Monitoring of PIN is nothing but phishing

- Privacy is greatly disturbed.

How to avoid:

- Use trusted computer alone

- Use your own home computers for important bank transaction

- PIN tracking

STEP 1: Type your PIN or password incorrectly twice.

STEP 2: Use the mouse to change the order of password or PIN number

[NOTE: ATS can monitor only key strokes not the mouse operation]

Applicant tracking software is often reffered to as user tracking software. Remember it runs in the background.
